2019 Biennial Conference
The Teaching Academy will cover registration fees for RTA Fellows of $100 (if registered by May 31). Participants that are not fellows are welcome and encouraged to attend, but will be subject to the registration fee of $200 (local participants will be charged a registration fee of 100). If a non fellow participates in the VETS pre-conference workshop, they will receive a discount on the conference registration of $100.
If you are not an RTA Fellow or a faculty member, graduate student, or resident at a CVM in the western consortium and are interesting in attending the Biennial Meeting, please contact Dr. Rachel Halsey.
If you are a Regional Teaching Academy Fellow, lodging expenses will be reimbursed up to $100/night (4 nights). If your travel as an RTA fellow requires an additional night of lodging in Davis, please contact Dr. Rachel Halsey to inquire whether you might be eligible for an additional reimbursement.
Additional attendees are encouraged to attend the conference. (The Teaching Academy will not reimburse any travel expenses for any participants)
Attendance at the Monday evening kick off session at 6:30 pm is strongly encouraged, as well as participation throughout the entire conference until Thursday until 5 pm. Please plan travel accommodations accordingly.
